Fort Worth based original indie pop-rock trio featuring singer/songwriter/guitarist Steve “Doc Roc” Troum, bassist Wyatt “Doc Riot” Webb, and drummer Dan “Sonic Boom” Elliot. The music is heavily influenced by late-1980’s/early 90’s radio-friendly college alternative rock. They have recently been inducted into the Amplify817 family of artists through the Ft Worth Library and have enjoyed local radio airplay of most of their songs (KXT, KNON, KTCU, 88.1 Indie, KUZU and others). The Troumatics debut album, “Watch Me Burn”, released July 2023, was nominated for album of the year in the Fort Worth Weekly, and Steve Troum was Dallas Songwriters Association 2021 Songwriter of the Year. The band is available for 1 or 2 set shows (~50 min/set) featuring their original songs with only an occasional rock cover tune.
