A Dallas/Fort Worth based marimba band formed in 2007 by Dana Sudborough. The group performs traditional music of Mexico (Chiapas, Vera Cruz, Tabasco, Yucatan, Oaxaca), Guatemala, and Central America. In addition the group has repertoire for classical, Latin standards and Latin-jazz. The group uses Mexican buzz marimbas (or Zapotecanos), bass, percussion, keyboards, and horns depending on the performance (number of performers can range from 2-14).
