Brasuka is an exciting Latin band that combines traditional Brazilian street sounds with jazz fusion, reggae, and funk to create original songs and unique arrangements in the style of legendary Brazilian artists like Sergio Mendes, Hermeto Pascoal, and Ivan Lins.  From dynamic percussion to lush jazz harmony to rich vocals, Brasuka is a show band that appeals to a broad audience. Brasuka’s core band is 6 members: Rosana Eckert – vocals/percussion/keys;  Ricardo Bozas – percussion/vocals; Denny Robinson – piano/vocals; Tom Burchill – guitar/vocal; Brian Warthen – bass/percussion; Jose Aponte – drumset, vocals.   Brasuka can also appear in an expanded size, adding horns and more percussion.
